This is a smaller store so I gave them 4 out of 5 stars because they don't have some items and I find myself having to visit the large Publix down the road like Reams noodle for soup and gluten free tortellini. Other than that love it.

This new Publix is amazing in every respect. First, the customer service in grocery, pharmacy, meat dept, etc., is better than any Publix I have ever shopped in. Frankly, I have never had bad service in a Publix, but this one is outstanding. I hope everyone in the store gets the recognition they so well deserve.

Updated: resolved on Monday and found someone put the tampered cards in the shelf. Publix has took action to locate them and reported to law enforcement.

CHECK YOUR GIFT CARDS BEFORE LEAVING THE STORE!

We never imagined we’d fall victim to stolen Amazon gift cards, but it happened to us. We purchased two $100 Amazon gift cards, and as soon as we left the store, we noticed something was off. The paper covers were tampered with—peeled back and poorly reattached. Worse, the redeem codes on both cards had been fully scratched off, and some of the numbers were even cut off. This made it impossible for us to redeem the cards after paying for them, as someone had already stolen the codes and was likely waiting for the transaction to go through.

I don’t know if this theft occurred in the store, during transportation, or somewhere else, as it would take time to carefully open the paper covers, steal the redeem codes, scratch them off, cut the numbers, and then reseal the covers to look untouched.

We immediately reported the issue to the store manager. Unfortunately, they informed us that there wasn’t much they could do on-site other than report it to corporate for investigation. We suggested that they cancel the transaction and void the cards to prevent the thief from redeeming the funds, but the store wasn't certain they had the ability to do so. We’re currently waiting for an update and hoping to receive a refund. We will keep you posted if any updates from the investigation.

We’re sharing this as a warning to anyone buying Amazon gift cards in-store: Always check the cards before leaving! Make sure the paper covers are intact, and the redeem codes haven’t been tampered with.

This Publix is the newest store in this area or city of Sarasota. The same layout as renovated Publix at Landings there is seating space on upstairs that I like to get lunch from the deli, salad bar and poke bar. Or anything from this store. Also we can use the drink bar. I always get a cup of coffee there. This coffee makes my lunch complete. At this time I missed the poke because it was almost 2:00pm. So our lunch of the day was from the salad bar. There are many different kinds of food and daily ones are Asian, Italian and others. I appreciate their business offering to everyone such a nice clean space to eat and relax.

Today was my 2nd time on the store and the guy from the deli ‘’Helio’’ was incredible with my and my parents he took care of my sub and he help my parents on traditional as well pretty grateful to him, we will come back for sure

New Publics in Sarasota! But that's not what's important. This new store is outstanding in the emphasis on"quality". I like Publics, but after months of "compare and contrast,"there is something different. People, product, selection and environment are just better. Prices are the same, but the experience makes a difference.

Recently purchased two ribeye steaks at Publix they were tough and tasteless. Try to contact Publix on their app and it continued to freeze up and not accept the message.
Very disappointing on several levels.
