RAD Farmers Market is a personal favorite! It is open all year round from 3-6 pm. They often have live music, a coffee truck and so many vendors. The vegetables are picture perfect, the goat cheese is flavorful and the bakeries are outstanding! There’s so much available that I cannot possibly list all of it! The line at Flat Rock Village Bakery is totally worth it! If you’ve never browned oyster mushrooms, you’re missing out! If you need or would like beautiful fresh cut flowers, this is the place to get those too!

Great News - It's the same RAD market you know and love. After the flood it was relocated to a temporary location on Merrimon and has now moved to the campus of ABTech, which will be its home for the foreseeable future. The reason for the two addresses and pages on Google Maps is that Google's algorithm only allows for a business moving its address an x number of times in x time. By going to the "River Arts District Farmers Market" (dropping RAD), currently listed as being on Merrimon Ave on Google Maps, you should be taken to the original Google Maps page with all those great photos and reviews from the past.

Love the new location of the RAD Farmer’s Market! Behind Riverview Station and in front of the Foundation Walls Project! Very nicely socially distanced... and a great selection of vendors! Wednesdays from 3 to 6pm until it get cold and then it moves inside @ Pleb Winery!

Great farmers market for different kinds locally grown produce, and other assorted craft items. One farmer has a mushroom farm with a wide selection of locally grown superior quality mushrooms. Also, Fletcher Bakery has a space selling handmade, artisan baked goods prepared daily from scratch using the best ingredients available. Locally produced chicken, beef, fish and lamb are also available. I think this is the best farmers market in the region.

Soo good. I love this one. If you can eat breads or pastries I seriously recommend David Workman. They are off the chart. Everything is just wonderful here and open all winter long.

Great selection of local vendors! I try and swing by every week for fresh produce. I come by early and it’s pretty busy, but I know what I’m looking for so it doesn’t take too long to shop.

I really miss the old location at All Souls Pizza. The Foundy section of RAD is fun, but way to many tourists to easily get in and out for weekly shopping. Parking can be a pain. I could try other markets but I do think they have the best selection of vendors, so I’ll continue to support them here.

It's just gorgeous even in the winter time and the bike lanes are perfect I have a 6-year-old and a 4-year-old daughter and we go riding there all the time.
