I ordered an emergency prescription to this pharmacy as my GP turns me away if I order my monthly prescription too early, and the NHS website warns that it can take 3-5 working days until it’s ready. So with my nominated pharmacy not being open on the weekends, it’s difficult to catch the small time frame in which I can actually order and collect my prescription before I’ve run out of tablets.

The Southeast Asian lady who works at the pharmacy was rude and hurtful when she scolded me for ordering an emergency prescription. Apparently she “had to give out a number of emergency prescriptions recently” and decided to take it all out on me that day. Not sure why she had such an attitude about it considering I paid more than 4 times the price with it being an emergency prescription.

The tablets I take cause brain fog and memory loss, which I’ve been struggling with recently, and as a pharmacist she would know about these side-effects. It can get confusing with when I should order the tablets (is like a very difficult puzzle to solve), and being turned away by your GP / scolded at the pharmacy for medication that is vital for your mental health / causes unwanted side-effects is not a nice experience.

I thought maybe she was having a bad day and that I should offer some compassion, but I’ve seen her treat other customers similarly before and was just as taken aback by it. The young Italian lad who also works at the pharmacy is delightful however and an absolute angel in comparison. This visit was about a month ago now and I still think about it daily. I’ve worked in customer service most of my life and I’d never dream of speaking to a customer the way this woman spoke to me.

Good evening, I just made a purchase from you and the payment was not confirmed for me, I used another card and my card was charged twice, the manager said that there is nothing he can do to help me. I want my money back. Thank you.

They have worst customer service desk in any boots branch I've been too.
Item was already delivered damaged and wouldn't accept this back. Finally got the manager and provided the evidence.

Certainly the worst Boots branch I have ever visited. All of the tills are self service, which causes a problem when so many people are buying medicines that need to be authorised by a member of staff, e.g. paracetamol. This is causes big delays which is particularly inconvenient in a train station where people are often in a hurry.

The worst service I have seen with me mum of 2 babies.
I spent more than 4 minutes looking for a baby wipes and I couldn’t found any and there’s no stuff to help and my babies where overtired also one of them was unwell and both they need to be changed.
I went near the till to ask where I can found baby wipes, I said 3 times please and excuse me and the she ignored me and than I waited and re asked again (excuse me), the stuff lady her hair was pink I couldn’t get her name she was very rude with me and not polite I told her it’s emergency situation and I will miss the train and I need wipes for my baby just wanted to know where I can found them because I can’t see any of them , she was taking in loud voices and not being polite at all . And keep saying I’m serving someone else.
I will never come to this shop at all because it’s not supported emergency situation .

Visited this Boots several times on my way to work and each time the service gets worse, not only are there NO normal tills available, only self pay, but when you ask the staff for help you are greeted with an attitude. On more than one occasion I have encountered Richard and each time the experience gets more unpleasant, he is argumentative, rude and not helpful in the slightest. Had I not needed something specific I would never go in. The shelves are ways bare, fridges are never cold and you are made to feel like a nuisance.
I will not be visiting again any time soon!

Customers should not ask the staff info about trains as they work for Boots and have no knowledge of train times. If you’re late for your time don’t blame the staff, organise yourself better. And when being served, get off the phone !!!! Be nice to the staff they are helping you!!!!

Friendly and helpful staff. Generally speaking I wish Boots further improve the supply chain to avoid empty shelves for some items specially in the on shelf drug sections.
