To keep it short- These guys deserve a 6 start rating of their own.

In full- absolutely unbelievable service from the guys at this shop. They are not bike salesman, they are simply members of the biking community that are willingly there to make your biking experience the best it can be. They know what you want/need, are super knowledgeable and highly personable. My experience here has made me feel like part of the great community biking / mountain biking is. They found ways to fit my needs without pushing sales or things of that nature. These guys truly care, and want to supply you with exactly what it is you are looking for and they seem to know exactly what that is. Thank you Stewart and the rest of the crew for providing this experience.

Excellent experience buying my new Rocky Mountain Fusion 40. Great staff, pleasant, experienced. They have been very responsive via phone, SMS, and even e-mail. When I picked it up we had a nice chat about riding, politics, life in general - they were in no hurry to get me out the door and seemed to genuinely value my business.

The bike is awesome, especially for the sale price I paid. There are some upgrades I want to do to the components but it's a rock-solid platform for a great price, and the shop set it up properly. Highly recommend this well-run and friendly local business!

Great store with great inventory! Staff is very knowledgeable, would definitely recommend!
1 star off because I was sold the wrong tire. I needed a T9 tread and the staff handed me a box that didn't say T9 on it so I stated "I don't think this is a T9 tread, is this a T7?" After being reassured multiple times that it is definitely a T9 tire that's just in an older style box, I came home to find out that it is indeed a T7... Thats my fault for not actually opening it before driving home, but on the staff for selling me the wrong item even after I questioned it a few times. Maybe It was just one of those days!
Trust your gut and don't be afraid to ask questions multiple times!
Still an amazing bike store 👍

Recently had to take advantage of the Specialized Life-Time Warranty on the carbon frame of my Roubaix, which developed a crack. Stuart made this an easy process and Specialized stepped up and not only replaced the frame, but upgraded it and covered the labour to transfer all the components from old frame to new. Staff at the store was almost as excited as I was. Bike frame and assembly has passed with flying colours (I'll never do that again!). Definitely a lifelong Specialized customer!

Absolutely five stars! This bike shop is incredible. The staff here are super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and made me feel so well treated. They clearly know their stuff, especially with my Envo Lynx bike – everything was just perfect. Highly recommend!

I write this review as a woman who is new to biking.

When I picked up my bike in January, I shared that I did not know about bike maintenance and needed help. I spent 1.5 hours with the sales team buying some extras and asking questions before they offered to load my bike on the back of my car.

Never did they mention the dangers of roadsalt. My bike was loaded, I drove home, wiped down the bike and hung it in my garage for the rest of winter.

I have rode my bike since June. I have kept my bike dry, stored it in a garage, washed and lubed the chain. I started to notice significant rust on my entire drive chain.

When I brought the bike into the store, I was met with confrontation and told the only way this could happen is if I didn't care for my bike.

I was told they would submit a warranty claim to the bike company but knew rust wasn't covered. They told me the owner was the only person who could make a decision on next steps if the warranty didn't go through. I asked for the owner to contact me and was told that this wasn't possible. I left the store in tears because I felt like I was being treated as someone who knew too little to be taken seriously.

My husband continued to speak with the in store manager and in the end he agreed that the owner "might be able to text him the next day". My husband called the store the next day to speak with the owner.

The owner said it was our fault because we transported the bike on the back of our car in January so the store would take no responsibility.

He also accused us of harassment and told us that we were "lucky the police weren't called".

Yes we were upset. Yes we stated we were receiving poor customer service. No we didn’t yell, use threatening language or harass any employees. It appears if you disagree with any employee of their store you are harassing.

The owner and my husband "worked out a deal". Which included the store giving my bike a tune up (which was already included in the price I paid in January) and replacing the chain (with the 'bonus points' we had with the store).

I called the owner back to state that I didn't feel this was fair compensation. My hope was for the rusting parts to be replaced and I stated this.

I was told that he "didn't need to talk to me because he already talked to my husband." I was told that "any person with common sense would know you can't transport a bike on the back of a car in winter". He noted many times that I must not have common sense. Again I was accused of harassment and was hung up on within 5 min of the call.

I did not yell. I did not call anyone names or use threatening language. I stated I did not receive adequate customer service in January.

I made the decision to pick up my bike and take it to a different bike shop as I had lost complete trust in Brantford Cyclepath.

When I asked for assistance in picking up my bike in January, being told about the dangers of roadsalt would have avoided this entire issue. I would have just put it in my car.

The other shop made me feel like I belong in the cycling community and assured me that most people would have no idea 40 minutes on the back of the car in winter can ruin it. They are fixing up my bike and throwing in a new chain to help make my day better.

As a new rider I highly recommend you don't buy from Brantford Cyclepath or you might be told you do not possess enough common sense to be part of the cycling community.

Thank you Stuart for my new bike, if you are in the market for new a bike or gear skip purchasing from huge retailers, these are honest and good people, Purchase a bike that will last for a lifetime not for a few months, Spend the extra cost for a bike you will enjoy and cherish. Will be back for all of my bike needs, thank you again Stuart!!!! Trust me you will not regret it. support your local bike shop!
