This was my first time here, and I was very surprised by what I found. Like other reviews, the outside is very deceiving. The cafe is a very nice setup that is ideal for meetings or quiet alone time. The ambiance is very appealing and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be stopping by more.

Unassuming from the outside, but so much more than we ever expected! From the thoughtfully chosen artwork (from local artisans) to the attention to detail in every single drink/food item presented- we were so delightfully surprised at this gem. Family owned and operated- we were greeted with great smiles and friendly staff. Our drinks (drip brew, americano, almond milk chai, and matcha) were such a treat for the palate. Had a lovely interaction with the owners and thoroughly enjoyed taking in the space. They’ve done a great job creating a place of belonging. Medicine Hat is lucky to have such an amazing place for people to gather. We felt right at home. We can’t wait to be back!

Great Cafe! Been here a few times for Lattes w/ sugarfree syrup, and they were great every time! Friendly and accommodating staff, decent prices, good vibes. Had a selection of loose leaf so I got one of the green teas, smelled lovely! I'll be back for sure.

Early morning Hatters flock to their favourite Cafe Verve. She has all the gusto, verve and enthusiasm of youth. Verve serves not only handcrafted, freshly made beverages and café made foods, they bring zest and spiced sweetness to the tables.

Many regulars sit down to read daily news; parents meeting up after dropping off their children at the school around the corner, passersby grab lunchtime sandwiches and too early for the bus travellers drop in for a takeout coffee and snack. Moms bring containers for a healthy takeout supper.

Against the walls are paintings, crafts and bags exhibiting the talents of passionate local artists. [The waiting list is long, make sure to reserve a spot if interested in showcasing your collection on their walls.]

*^*Purchasing a piece of artwork is generous and rewarding - many compliments awaiting! No need to travel far to get a memoir. *_*

Lunchtimes to later afternoons, from breakfast to closing Café Verve feeds the hungry. Their soup of the day and sandwiches gourmet, golden turmeric milk are personal favourites of mine.

They have seasonal changes to the menu, but popular items are always available. Special quenchers for hot summer weather and caressing hot chocolate for minus40 temperatures outdoors. For every guest and every season there are deliciously diverse somethings.

The layout is perfect, modern tables & chairs with a fireplace and leather seats in the corner. A true classic of style and comfort.
Do stop by and become a guaranteed fan.

Locals-to-locals is what makes the Hatters such a successful, great community. Café Verve is a gem.

My girlfriend and I ordered lunch from here for takeout. I had the chicken club sandwich and it was amazing. They source their bread from McBride's bakery which makes the sandwiches that much better. My girlfriend had the chicken brie sandwich, and she said it was also amazing. On the side. We had the house soup of the day which was a dill, pea soup. Also very delicious. Very nice local establishment for lunch, I highly recommend..

What a little gem this cafe is! They brew rosso coffee. My latte was smooth, delicious and the perfect amount of hot. The owners are both very genuine and kind. Super cool artwork to! Its a must try
