Sought this place out as we saw they roast their own coffee so thought it would be decent…and it was lovely. Delicious flat white in the right proportions. They know what they’re doing with coffee. It’s quiet and off the beaten track which is nice.
Unfortunately the barista was quite rude and made me feel very unwelcome. He seemed like he really didn’t want to serve me, and went about his business while I stood there, even asking another customer who came in after me what they wanted. I wouldn’t recommend based on that.

I decided to come to Dees as it seemed to be a professional coffee shop and it turned out to be a great choice. The place was cozy with a charming vintage vibe. Most of all, I was amazed by the cappuccino I had. It was amazingly good with a subtle fruity note. Coming from Hanoi, where there’s a variety of good cafe places, I was still impressed by the quality of Dees’s coffee. And another thing I noticed was a few photos related to Vietnam hanging on the wall there. Unfortunately, I didn’t get the chance to ask about the story behind them, but it added a personal touch to the space.

Overheerlijke koffie!!! Latte art is ook echt on-point 🤭 zie de zwaan! Wij waren er een half uurtje voor sluitingstijd. Het was rustig en we konden elkaar goed verstaan. Als je van goede koffie houdt zou ik hier zeker langsgaan…

Dees is a wonderful spot run by true coffee lovers for fellow coffee geeks. I ordered a doppio and noticed they had Ethiopian beans in the grinder. I asked if I could have my espresso made with those, and even though it wasn’t dialed in for espresso, they gladly adjusted it just for me. Exceptional service and a fantastic atmosphere—highly recommended!

I’m sorry to disagree a little with the concept of the place, but in our experience, we didn’t feel it qualified as a specialty coffee shop. While the coffee itself wasn’t bad, we felt that the preparation and overall quality could be improved to truly match that distinction.

Heerlijke koffie! Alleen één nadeel: cappuccino wordt standaard met havermelk gemaakt. Dit staat ergens op de kaart, maar niet duidelijk bij de cappuccino. Je gaat er vanuit als je blind een cappuccino bestelt, dit vermeld wordt zodat je als klant een keuze hebt.
Dit beïnvloedde zeker de beoordeling van de koffie die ik drink, terwijl ze wel een lekkere boon hebben.
Het werd leuk geserveerd en een glas water erbij vind ik altijd een goede service.

Je kunt ook leuk buiten op de stoep zitten bij mooi weer. Ze hebben er een klein maar fijn plekje gecreëerd.
Binnen is het leuk ingericht. Ook de bediening is vriendelijk en servicegericht.

Dus beste medewerkers: stel de haver/koemelk vraag voortaan aan je klanten voor meer tevredenheid en een (nog) betere ervaring.

Phenomenal coffee. We ordered a cappuccino and a latte. Artfully crafted and they take pride in making the coffee.
