My recent visit to Food Lion in Delaware left me impressed with its cleanliness, organization, and attention to detail. From the moment I entered the store, it was evident that maintaining a welcoming environment was a top priority.

The store's interior was impeccably clean and thoughtfully organized, making it easy to navigate through the aisles. However, what truly stood out was the cleanliness of the restroom facilities. In fact, it was the nicest and cleanest supermarket bathroom I've ever encountered, a testament to the store's commitment to hygiene and customer satisfaction.

While I appreciated the overall ambiance of the store, I was disappointed that they didn't have the specific products I was searching for. Despite this setback, the staff remained courteous and helpful, making inquiries and offering alternatives when possible.

In conclusion, my experience at Food Lion in Delaware was a positive one. Although my shopping list wasn't fully satisfied, the cleanliness, organization, and excellent restroom facilities made for a pleasant visit nonetheless. With a few adjustments to their product offerings, this store has the potential to become a go-to destination for grocery shopping in the area.

The prices are good, store is clean, sometimes check out is a little long... But I always end up going at peak time. Plus they will cash payroll/benefit checks without an unfair fee, AND have money orders for sale! Thank you food lion for taking care of your customers

I just wanted to buy boxes of sodas for my restaurant business fridge so my customers can get sodas. I came here to buy the boxed sodas here, I bought 8 boxes and returned to buy the other 8, but when I came here to buy the rest for the second time, they banned me from shopping here. I didn’t do anything wrong, I asked the staff why, and they told me I’m buying too much. So I saw the manager, but the manager said the same thing. Now I’m BANNED from shopping here and I have to DRIVE FAR to get more boxed sodas. I am a MVP customer, but the staff and the manager doesn’t care, and not only did they ban me, but they used UNPROFESSIONAL TONE towards me. Like, what am I even supposed to do? Waste money on gas and another goods? Call Coke Company which is gonna cost me a fortune? Give them tips? If y’all are reading this, I strongly recommend you to not shop here. Definitely not returning here ever again.

We have been ordering from Food Lion online and then head there to pick it up for probably going on 3 years now. Every single employee that picks our items out is always so kind. They all are actually extremely fast as well. Pretty much every time our order is ready, it's finished around 1-2 hours before the time frame we chose! If there is an item out of stock, they will send you a message via text and suggest a replacement. You can either approve it or deny it OR choose your own replacement. It's extremely easy to maneuver using either the website on a computer or using the Food Lion app, which is what I use. I hope this helps with anyone curious about ordering online from Food Lion! I highly recommend doing so! I have difficulties walking due to pain in my hips caused by bilateral avascular necrosis, so having the ability to not have to walk around a store and save myself from that is AMAZING!!

I was recently in this store told the manager that the shopping cart was locked he stated that because they locked so they can't be taken off the property I thought they were broke not locked thats why I said something and then said they're in the store and he said that's not my problem I then said I can go to another store and was just go there then

This became my store when Pathmark closed down. However, over the years, this store has gone downhill. Some staff are rude and act inconvenienced if you ask for help or questions. Some staff appearance and demeanor are unprofessional.

The sunday evening before thanksgiving and they have THREE cashiers on duty? Managers standing at the door cheesing at everyone walking in instead of getting on a drawer and working.
