I was so disappointed, Hello my name is Sonya Dorsey, my husband and I visited the Jason's deli at 1718 N Hwy 287, Mansfield Tx Store #193 on Sunday 9/15 at around 6 pm, we ordered 2 pasta dishes and 2 potatoes, 1 was a plain potato with bacon, and the other was a Polo Mexicana with light pico and extra butter, sour cream, when we got home and I opened my potato there was some disgusting black stuff in the potato, I immediately took pictures, made a video and called the store, the person who answered the phone was laughing and questioning me about the potato, this was an immediate red flag, I asked for a manager and the person hung up, I grabbed the potato and went back to the store, upon arriving, the person at the cash register was laughing when I walked in, so they knew who I was, today was game day and my husband had on a 49ers jersey, when I went to return the potato I had on my 49ers jersey, I have a sinking feeling that they messed up the order because of the Jerseys we had on. The pasta was disgusting and we threw it away, I do not appreciate having my food played with, I have pictures of the black substance and a video and I also started gagging from eating it before I realized what this stuff was in the potato. It is hard enough to eat out when we are afraid that people will tamper with your food, but even worse when they laugh and think its funny to tamper with food, I plan take this further, I would like a call concerning this and I feel that you all should investigate that store, this may cause a lawsuit in the future, and I am not happy about my food being tampered with for any reason. I paid a lot of money and I am totally not satisfied with the service or the food.

UPDATE: I was contacted by managing partner, she was very apologetic and she made me feel more comfortable about my experience, because of this I did change my rating, this is the only issue I have had with this store, so I will give them some grace, thanks to Ms. Mango, she was a true gem and I am happy that she contacted me to make it right.

I love Jason's Deli however the food from this location has put my desire to eat it again on pause for a LONG while. I ordered a cup of Broccoli Cheese Soup and a Pollo Mexicano. Super disappointed with both.

The Broccoli Cheese Soup was more like soup. The soup should spoon like soup. It didn't. What it did do was be so thick, so old that the crackers stood up in the soup. One taste just to see and I threw it away. It tasted old and was so nasty. It had to be old because look at the picture. The crackers are literally standing up in the goup... I mean "soup."

The potato...smh. I just ate the chicken and topping because the potato was dry AF and hard.

Do you need better cooks? OR Do you need to stop selling old food to people who use door dash and can't see the mess they receive? Do better. I'll never eat there again, but do BETTER!

DISGUSTING!

Wasn’t bad. I ordered the mod bowl and I wish I would’ve known it was going to be a cold bowl. I don’t like cold protein. The tortilla soup was good. Clean place though.

I have a gluten and dairy allergy and ordered from Uber Eats a gluten free and cheese free sandwich. I paid extra for the gluten free bread. I received a sandwich with regular bread and cheese. I’m at home with sick kids and ordered food because we can’t go anywhere. If you are going to offer allergy friendly options, please make sure you follow them. My ticket even says it. I’m beyond upset.

Over 13 tables dirty. Salad bar not stocked. The group working was more interested in their cell phones than cleaning and assisting customers. This place was formerly one of my favorites. It's off the list. I won't be back because of cleanliness and customer service issues.

My husband, son and my self just left there for a late lunch. We have been coming to this location in Mansfield ever since it opened up. This was by far the worse experience I think I have ever had at a restaurant. The cashier was super sweet, food was good. When we went to sit down at our table which is right in front of where the expo is, my son (7) went to go grab a couple of corn bread and my husband went to go get me a side of that corn pico for my sandwich. When I was looking at the expo, one of the ladies was pointing at us very upset and telling her manager something which I’m assuming it’s because my son had cornbread from the salad bars. The employee proceeded to give us very fowl looks and she happened to be the one to bring us our food. We didn’t say anything other than " awesome, thank you so much" and she didn’t say one thing and looked back and gave us a look. I was very very confused , than she blurted out and shouted at us " she’s on her way she’s on her way”. Now this was very random and not to mention in front of all customers and employees. The employee was upset took off her apron and left out the back door while glaring at us. The manager did nothing about her actions. The manager was looking right at this when it happened. If it was just me or my husband I could let this go, my child was with us and really who wants to watch this. Who knows maybe next time it will be better, but worse experience ever.

Absolutely love Jason's Deli, however, this location has the dirtiest seating area. We visited right at 9pm on a Thursday. Literally every table not marked as closed, was dirty. We had to sit at a dirty table because we ordered to eat there. I guess they saw me taking pictures because just after that someone was cleaning the tables. Also, the gf was going to order soup and salad, but they limit the salad bar to one trip now). The multiple trips are the best part of the salad bar) no cornbread either. The food was good, although the portions were in the lower end, not as they used to be.

Edit: while they removed the dishes from the tables, they didn't wipe or sanitizer them
