I went here for the fried chicken. And I wasn't disappointed. The chicken was very good. I also got the fries and gravy which were also good. But the best part was the lady working there. She's super friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I only have 1 beef lol. It might have been due to a new employee but I ordered a 3 piece chicken and one of my 3 pieces was literally a tiny little wing tip. Which had zero edible pieces on it. It probably shouldn't have been considered a " piece" but I didn't figure this out until I got back to my hotel, so what was i going to do.🤷🏼‍♂️

But over all a great experience. I will be going back for chicken again.

The food and service were both absolutely amazing! I was pleasantly surprised as it is a small town I wasn’t expecting much when it comes to food as I am from the GTA. I ate there twice and both didn’t disappoint at all.

I ordered burger and poutine twice and fried chicken ones. That fried chicken was out of this world! I can say it’s better than the major chains such as kfc, Jollibee, Popeyes, Mary browns to name some. It’s so juicy and not overly crispy and a thin layer of batter. The seasoning was just perfect, not overly salted and spiced. The burgers are better than some local joints in the GTA.

If you’re looking for food recommendations for Cochrane, please stop by this little hidden gem! You will not be disappointed at all!

This is the definition of a hidden gem. Amazing fried chicken. We tried the chicken burgers, tenders and individual pieces and all of them were delicious. They also serve subs and pizza, which I'm sure are equally great. We ate here twice on our 24 stay in Cochrane and can't wait to come back. Good prices on convenience store items too. The only complaint is that the staff aren't wearing masks and don't enforce mask wearing for people coming in.

Went camping at Kettle Lakes and drove up to Cochrane to explore and have lunch.

Angels place was a great choice! We ordered fried chicken and a double cheese burger along side with poutine. All of it was well made and tasted great!

More importantly was the customer service. Wow, we were so welcomed and served well!

This little gem has probably some of the best food in town! Pizzas are great, subs are FRESH (unlike subway 😒) chicken is JUICY and delicate but that CRISPY skin/breading is to die for!!!!!! Wings are plump little things and the staff! The staff are the most friendly, most personable, helpful, kind, generous people you will ever come across! The store/mart is kept well cleaned and organized ( even outside they sweep the sidewalk!!!! And NOBODY does that these days!!) The prices are reasonable, quality of the food is superb and man those fries are HEAVEN! Same with the gravy. If you go here for the first time, I recommend getting one of everything because you will not be disappointed!!

I have been working in Cochrane for the last two weeks and every time I asked a local where was a good place to eat, they said Angel’s. I went in with high expectations and I wasn’t disappointed . Top notch place. Very clean, food is fresh and the staff are very nice. Had a Whaat Burger and a small poutine. Filled the gap perfectly.
