We recently had breakfast at Patterson’s Family Restaurant in Sackville and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and warmth of this cozy spot. The atmosphere feels like a true community diner—laid-back, friendly, and welcoming.

Their breakfast menu is extensive, with options ranging from classic eggs and toast to pancakes, bacon, and perfectly seasoned home fries. I ordered the traditional breakfast plate, and everything was cooked just right. The coffee was hot and kept flowing, which I appreciated.

Service was quick and friendly. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes. If you’re driving through or live nearby, Patterson’s is well worth a stop.

Very nice restaurant for our needs which was a wanting breakfast. Quick service, polite, professional staff.

Food was delivered quickly and fit the bill. No after taste as some other restaurants. Recommended.

I went here with my dad back in May and it was a great experience with amazing fish and chips. However this past week when I brought both of my parents here, it was absolutely horrible. We had a ten minute wait for a table which was completely doable, however ten minutes turned into half an hour quickly, and we watched servers sit customers that had just walked in instead of us. Once we finally got a table and were given menus, we were not offered any drinks or even water. Our server walked off into the kitchen to go and chat with their coworkers. We waited another 20 minutes for someone to come and start our order, however nobody came. A server then sat an older couple at the table next to us, and immediately offered drinks to them. My mom spoke up by saying “excuse me” to which we were completely ignored. We were not even acknowledged by any of the staff. It was unacceptable, even as we left, none of the staff said anything or asked why we were leaving. I can understand if the restaurant is busy, however it was not busy enough for staff to be blatantly ignoring customers and instead having gossip sessions in the kitchen in complete view of the customers. Very disappointing, will not be coming back.

Driving from Halifax to Fredericton, we planned ahead to find a spot that was a quick detour off the highway as we really wanted some lobster rolls (I am originally from the east coast and am trying to maximize my bluenoserness while I'm here)

And boy did this place hit the spot! It was super busy in there when we got there, but the lady still managed to be efficient and accommodating. Would recommend this spot to anyone. Thanks for three great lobster rolls! Homemade fries were awesome too
