I recently went there with my mom and 2 sisters as soon as we walked in we were asked for our license which was no problem because we had one. As my mom was looking for the license number I decided to look around with my 2 sisters while she looked for the number. As I’m looking around I see the lady that works there following me and my sister around the store she seriously STOPS and STARES at us for at least one minute I was so UNCOMFORTABLE and DISGUSTED by this lady’s behavior I asked “is there a problem” she then says very rudely “well this place is for licensed pros only” I reply and say “well good thing we are licensed!” Not only that she talked to my TEN YEAR OLD SISTER literal CHILDREN under age very rude and unprofessional saying “please don’t touch my stuff I want it to be respected” they were simply holding a product we intended to purchase! NOT ONLY THAT it keeps going! She walks in the isle next to us where I can’t see her and says loudly again, “this store is only for professional people and pros I don’t want you guys touching my stuff” (AS I STATED WE ARE PROS AND LICENSED WITH OUR OWN SALON!!! ) I threw the stuff I was gonna purchase on the floor and walked out! I went down the street to (Kay’s nail and beauty supply) very very professional and kind people over there at Kay’s nail supply I will 100% return to them! Never will I return back to this pro nail supply store after me and my TEN YEAR OLD SISTER were followed and absolutely harassed! Not to mention the store was gross… it smelled and some of there products were expired it didn’t seem well maintained all of there polish was gross and old there was some stuff leaking the shelf’s looked so dirty. So my experience was absolutely horrible terrible customer service! I was harassed! And the place wasn’t even nice! Please save your self the trip and DO NOT GO i recommend Kay’s nail supply down the road instead!

I have given this ProNails location in particular a chance several times every single time I go in the owner of the store I guess she’s the owner is very rude to me. I mean very. I was even in another place, not five minutes before and they didn’t have what I needed so I thought I’ll give ProNails a chance one more time and somebody heard me in that store and they suggested I go to pro nails and I said that the Lady and there doesn’t like me and she agreed with me she said yes they are very rude in there I spent thousands of dollars every single year on products and they do not make it convenient for a cosmetologist, a licensed cosmetologist to run in and get what they need. Never going back!

I’ve been going here to buy nail and pedi supply for 20 plus years , very reasonable prices , they got everything you need and also you get treated very politely . They are very helpful if you can’t find something . Love the shop always smells pleasant and it’s always clean .

Was purchasing a few small things and browsing for my business while being followed. I have a clear bag! I understand they want to protect their assets. But when I asked questions where things were it was so abrasive. I was corrected multiple times before I could even finish a sentence. I felt humiliated and embarrassed trying to ask for help. Bought my few items and left. Realizing why it’s easier to just buy online.

I’m not sure what is in the air lately, but I will NEVER shop here again because of the racism I just experienced. I’m a licensed cosmetologist, and I’m no longer behind the chair anymore, but I still buy pro products with my license I pay to renew every time it expires. The owner I have met multiple times and have SPOKEN to multiple times, gave me a hard time about my license that they have literally taken record of. “Oh we only sell to salons” “Oh I have no way to check your license” even though I was not only willing to give her my information, she’s literally had this information before! The only difference this time is I came in with makeup on and my husband! You can just say, “ I don’t want to sell to you”. That would have been a lot easier than openly discriminating against me with my husband next to me. Black nail techs do not shop here. They do not want our money!

They asks for your license since it is a Pro Nail Store. They have good selections.

It is really sad to go through these reviews and see the immature and unprofessional responses the owner of this company gives to people. It’s one thing to require a license to shop, I can respect that. But it is another to be rude and hateful to people who don’t have one because they didn’t see the sign coming in. If the sign even really said “not open to the public” since two reviews both said that it said “open to the public”. All of you in the reviews defending this behavior should be ashamed and must not be much better yourselves. Is this how you treat your clients? Their behavior is made obvious by the rude responses to reviews. People in the nail community should be supporting each other, licensed or not. Some people just have a real passion for nails, who are you to crush that? Sure it’s your store and you can have that policy, but learn to enforce it respectfully and not hatefully! Shameful behavior from business owners. Anyone with any common decency will read these reviews and your responses to people and avoid your store like the plague. Do better.

Also, not everyone can afford to spend hundreds at nails salons, so they learn to do their nails themselves. I think the policy of denying sales to non licensed people is pretty outdated and stupid. There is NO good reason for it other than to feel superior and I guess for these people to give themselves a reason to treat people poorly.
