We stopped by Tall Tom’s Lemonade & Ice Cream for a treat after lunch on a rainy Sunday during the Canada Day weekend. The light drizzle must have kept some of the crowds away, which worked out well for us—it wasn’t too busy, and we were able to enjoy our ice cream with a peaceful walk down the pier.

Even though I’m not usually big on ice cream, I was curious to try the Carrot Cake flavour since I’m a huge fan of carrot cake. It absolutely blew me away—hands down the best ice cream I’ve had in a long time. It had the perfect balance of flavour and texture, and now I wish I had gotten a bigger scoop!

Speaking of scoops, the portion sizes were very generous. I ordered the smallest size (I believe it was called the “baby scoop”), and it was still surprisingly big.

This little spot is a gem—great ice cream, friendly staff, and the perfect location to enjoy a treat by the water. I’ll definitely be back to try more flavours!

Our family of four stopped to get a refreshing drink while walking around town on a hot day. Service was friendly, the building is adorable. Three of us took the lemonade with strawberry add-in and one of us had the mint add-in. Everything was delicious, perfectly sweetened and very refreshing. Cute little tables to sit by the water as well.

Wowowowow! Loved the mochacinno and carrot cake flavours. The lemonade float is also great! Definitely worth getting a scoop here

We were vacationing in St. Andrews this past week and discovered Tall Tom’s! What a sweet spot tucked away near the ward! Went back a few times. Couldn’t get enough of the vanilla cinnamon popcorn! And gluten free too!

Gotta be some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had. Tastes great, but the flavour options are the star. Carrot cake, bounty bar, and rhubarb crumbs were incredible. Good lemonade with lots of options as well.

Right on the water, past the whale watching tour booths, sits this tucked away little gem. Their lemon ice cream was delicious. It was creamy and accented with lemon zest. The small taster's cone was the perfect size for a refreshing sweet treat. Seating outside only.

We’ve had Tall Tom’s lemonade and popcorn many, many times at markets over the years, but there’s something extra special about their shopfront in St Andrews. We enjoyed all of the usual offerings but also some delicious and unique ice cream flavours.
